Out of the blue, the Green Bay Packers signed former draft pick tight end John FitzPatrick off of the Atlanta Falcons’ practice squad on Thursday. The team didn’t make a corresponding roster move, which means that they’ll need to release a player from their 53-man roster before FitzPatrick is signed.
With that in mind, it was notable that Luke Musgrave, who played all of zero snaps on Sunday despite being active for the game versus the Los Angeles Rams, was a non-participant in practice on Thursday. Musgrave previously was a limited participant on Wednesday, the first practice day of the week for the Packers.
