While many were captivated by the first full Saturday of college football, there was a lot of roster movement going on in the NFL, including the Green Bay Packers who trimmed their roster from 90 players down to 53.
It's always hard to predict what the roster will look like and it's hard to say that this 53-man roster will be the final version. In making the final cuts, there was plenty of intrigue and even a few a surprises from first-year general manager Brian Gutekunst.
One of the most notable parts of the roster is that for now at least, it features eight wide receivers.
