The Green Bay Packers are returning the vast majority of their offensive unit for the 2015 season, but there has been an overhaul at backup tight end. The team cut ties with Brandon Bostick, Ryan Taylor and Jake Stoneburner from last year and only return Richard Rodgers, Andrew Quarless and undrafted free agent Justin Perillo.
The Packers took a late-round flyer on UAB tight end Kennard Backman in this year’s draft, and the coaching staff is hoping Backman will add some versatility to the tight end group.
