Julius Peppers added to his ninth Pro Bowl, first with Packers

GREEN BAY, Wis. -- Julius Peppers is headed to the Pro Bowl for the ninth time. The Green Bay Packers outside linebacker was added on Monday to replace Von Miller of the Denver Broncos, who is unable to participate because of the Super Bowl.

It’s Peppers’ first Pro Bowl as a member of the Packers and first since 2012.

The 36-year-old finished with 10.5 sacks in the regular season for his ninth season with double-digit sacks. He moved into the top 10 (No. 9 overall) in career sacks with 136. He’s tied with Jared Allen for the most career sacks among active players.
