Josh Jacobs says the Packers need to add a ‘proven’ WR1

Green Bay Packers running back Josh Jacobs is fresh off a Pro Bowl appearance and making the media rounds ahead of Super Bowl LIX in New Orleans this week. He spoke with a few outlets on Radio Row about where the team’s at and what they need to get to their own Super Bowl, including upgrading the wide receiver room.

Josh Jacobs told NFL on NBC’s Mike Florio and Chris Simms that he thinks the Packers are about 2 or 3 pieces away from making a Super Bowl appearance. When asked what position groups are on his wishlist, Jacobs said defensive end, defensive back, and a “real” number one wide receiver.
