Green Bay Packers running back Josh Jacobs turned his first three carries during Sunday’s regular season finale into 17 yards, pushing him over 1,300 total rushing yards for the season.
That number hasn’t been hit in Green Bay in over 20 years.
Jacobs became the first Packers running back to go over 1,300 rushing yards in a season since Ahman Green in 2003. And he’s now just the fourth player in team history to hit the 1,300-yard mark in a season, joining Ahman Green, Dorsey Levens and Hall of Famer Jim Taylor.
Jacobs already set the team’s record for rushing yards by a player in their first season with the Packers.
