Jordy Nelson Retires a Packer

Nelson, who played 10 seasons in the Green & Gold signed a one-day contract with the team to retire a Packer.

Jordy was a second round pick (No. 36 overall) by the Packers in the 2008 NFL Draft out of Kansas State. Nelson was so productive during his time in Green Bay that he will surely enter into the Packers Hall of Fame. He currently ranks second in touchdown receptions with 69, third in franchise history in receptions with 550, third in 100-yard receiving games with 25, and fifth in receiving yards with 7,848. One state that stands out and is quite impressive is, Jordy is the only player in team history to record three sesons of 13-plus touchdown receptions.
