Not many could've foreseen the sudden leap Jordy Nelson and Davante Adams have taken in 2016.
Ascending up the ladder of reliance with quarterback Aaron Rodgers, the same old connection is on the brink of being solidified between he and Nelson, much like the way it was for the seven full seasons they were on the field together as teammates.
"I could throw that ball with my eyes closed, because I know exactly where he's going to be," Rodgers said after a Tuesday practice in August, halfway through the team's preseason schedule. "That's the beauty of us playing together for a long time.
