GREEN BAY, WI (WSAU) – As the Green Bay Packers look to keep their season alive by defeating the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday, quarterback Jordan Love is coming off one of the best seasons by a first-year starter in NFL history.
Only Patrick Mahomes, Kurt Warner, and Daunte Culpepper have thrown as many touchdown passes in their first season as Love, and he is the only first-year starter to lead the Packers to the postseason since at least 1950, according to the team.
Along with Aaron Rodgers, Love is the only quarterback in Packers history to record at least 30 touchdown passes and four rushing touchdowns in a season.
