Texans takeaways Sunday when they lost 35-20 to Green Bay at NRG Stadium to drop to 1-6 going into their open date:
Rodgers makes himself at home
Aaron Rodgers is so comfortable in Houston he may have to buy another home here. Not surprisingly, Rodgers feasted on a Texans’ defense that went into the game ranked 30th, surrendering 423 yards a game. Rodgers completed 23 of 34 for 283 yards and four touchdowns. He had no interceptions, wasn’t sacked and compiled a rating of 132.4.
The last time the Packers came to Houston was 2012 when the Texans finished 12-4, won the AFC South for the second year in a row and won a playoff game before being eliminated at New England in the divisional round.
