The Pro Football Writers of America announced their All-NFL, All-AFC and All-NFC teams Monday. Two Cincinnati Bengals players made an appearance on the All-AFC team.
QB Joe Burrow and WR Ja’Marr Chase were selected to the team, voted on by all the members of the PFWA. Chase is joined by Chiefs WR Tyreek Hill.
The selection of Burrow is quite the accomplishment for the second-year quarterback. In a conference where Patrick Mahomes and Josh Allen still seemed to reign supreme for much of the season, Burrow was voted as the top quarterback in the conference after leading the Bengals to a 10-7 regular-season record and an AFC North championship.
