Jodie Foster raised eyebrows when she thanked Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers during her Golden Globes acceptance speech for best supporting actress in "The Mauritanian."
So what was that all about?
Foster excitedly explained backstage in the virtual Golden Globes media room about that call-out to Rodgers, who just happens to be engaged to Foster's "The Mauritanian" co-star Shailene Woodley. She might love Rodgers even more than Woodley and she felt the need to express that love in the speech.
And Rodgers did thank Jodie Foster in his MVP acceptance speech.
