If Aaron Rodgers comes out of his cave and sees his shadow, will the New York Jets’ long winter of quarterback troubles end?
The Green Back Packers quarterback and the Jets “had conversations” on Monday, former ESPN host Trey Wingo tweeted in the early morning hours on Tuesday. Wingo added: “While nothing is imminent, Rodgers is open to the idea” of going to New York.
The Jets, of course, are looking for a veteran upgrade after watching former first-round draft pick Zach Wilson struggle the past two seasons, and experimentations have revealed that backup Mike White is not the answer.
