The New York Jets officially released former Green Bay Packers wide receiver Davante Adams on Tuesday.
Adams, a 2014 second-round pick of the Packers who played eight seasons in Green Bay, will enter the open market as a coveted free agent option at receiver.
Could the Packers, who are reportedly looking for veteran help at receiver, be an option? A reunion in Green Bay could help solve the Packers' needs at receiver while giving Adams -- who turned 32 last December -- a legitimate shot at chasing a title.
