Jets expected to interview Packers executive Jon-Eric Sullivan for GM role

One of the top executives in Brian Gutekunst’s front office will interview with the New York Jets for their open general manager job. According to Ian Rapoport of NFL Network, Green Bay Packers vice president of player personnel Jon-Eric Sullivan is expected to interview with the Jets.

Sullivan has spent the last 21 seasons in Green Bay, working under both Gutekunst and Ted Thompson. After joining the team in 2004, Sullivan was an area scout for eight seasons (2008-15), the director of college scouting for two seasons (2016-17), the co-director of player personnel for four seasons (2018-21) and now the vice president of player personnel for the last three seasons — giving him vast experience as an evaluator of both college and professional talent.
