It’s been an interesting couple of weeks for Knile Davis. The running back was traded from Kansas City to the Green Bay Packers on Oct. 18, but then was released on Monday after getting five carries (and picking up just five yards) in two games.
But the New York Jets claimed Davis, giving him a third home in as many weeks.
Or so he thought.
Turns out, the Jets claimed Davis as a Plan B: the team had been in talks with CJ Spiller, but the deal with the veteran wasn’t yet done.
