We’ve made the case many times. Kramer was named to the NFL’s 50th anniversary team. He was named to the 1960s all-decade team. He was a five-time first-team All Pro. He was a three-time Pro Bowler. The resume is obvious.

Despite the obvious credentials, Kramer never made it as a modern candidate. He was a finalist nine times. He was a senior’s committee nominee previously in 1997.
