Just when one wondered where “The People’s Champ” had wandered off to, Jeff Janis reappeared on the the biggest stage to date for the Green Bay Packers to score a touchdown that would put the team ahead for good in Thursday night’s 24-9 preseason opening win over the Philadelphia Eagles at Lambeau Field.
What would a preseason game be without Janis hitting pay dirt?
Janis, the wide receiver who is much-beloved by the fan base, but has had trouble hitting the field with any consistency over the course of his first three seasons in Titletown, once again threw a wrench into the decision-making that will be required of coaches over the next few weeks.
