While Rob believes Jeff Janis is going to go to the Cleveland Browns and light it up as a receiver, I think that’s delusional. More wishful thinking than reality-based.
We’re talking about a guy with 17 career receptions for 200 yards and a touchdown through four seasons. You can argue that Mike McCarthy never gave Janis a shot, but I subscribe to a different theory. Janis’ game never evolved beyond college, where he could just run by everyone. His route running and break off the line were never where they needed to be.
The only time Janis really excelled — the playoff game in Arizona — is when he was running around playing schoolyard football.
