Michigan State won’t face Jeff Hafley anymore, but the Detroit Lions will.
The Green Bay Packers have named Boston College coach Jeff Hafley as defensive coordinator, head coach Matt LaFleur announced Wednesday.
The Spartans are set to play Boston College in Chestnut Hill on Sept. 21.
“We are excited to welcome Jeff, his wife, Gina, and their daughters, Hope and Leah, to the Packers and the Green Bay community,” LaFleur said. “Jeff has had success at every stop of his coaching career with an impressive track record of developing players at every level. We look forward to him leading our defense”
Hafley, who has led Boston’s Eagles for the past four seasons, replaces Joe Barry, who was fired earlier this month.
