Green Bay — The writing on the wall for quarterback Scott Tolzien was first sketched back in training camp, when rookie draft choice Brett Hundley excelled beyond expectations during the exhibition games.
The first brush strokes were applied toward the end of the season, when all reports indicated that Hundley, taken in the fifth round out of UCLA, was in the midst of a steady progression that impressed the offensive coaching staff.
The final touches, if you will, surfaced at the NFL combine in Indianapolis when coach Mike McCarthy gushed over Hundley and expressed confidence in the idea of entering 2016 with his second-year player backing up starter Aaron Rodgers.
