Green Bay — The Green Bay Packers successfully signed wide receiver Jared Abbrederis and defensive tackle Christian Ringo to their practice squad Sunday but lost tight Mitchell Henry to the Denver Broncos.
Abbrederis, a fifth-round draft choice in 2014 from Wisconsin, will get work with the scout team and be available if needed. Any team can sign him to its 53-man roster but not to its practice squad.
Ringo, a sixth-round pick this year from Louisiana-Lafayette, decided to take the Packers' practice-squad offer over one from the Houston Texans.
"I knew we had a lot of good D-linemen," said Ringo.
