Considering how things have gone for receiver Jared Abbrederis this year, this was probably inevitable.
He had a better training camp than any other receiver. He was healthy for the first time ever to start a season. Then the season began and Abbrederis was forgotten, getting only 24 total snaps until the Packers put him on injured reserve last week.
When they did so, we knew Abbrederis didn’t really have a season-ending injury. And now, the Packers have given Abbrederis an injury settlement and released him.
It’s been a pretty maddening couple years for Abbrederis with the Packers, probably both for himself and for fans.
