Green Bay — Everyone in the Green Bay Packers locker room says the same thing. They have nothing but respect for James Jones.
Backup quarterback Brett Hundley looks up to the veteran receiver and thinks of him like a big brother. Tight end Richard Rodgers says he's a knowledgeable teammate and great leader.
"I mean, I think he picked up fairly well," said running back Eddie Lacy. "To be able to come in and have the year that he's had? He pretty much just picked up where he left off."
By now the story is well known: Jones played in Green Bay from 2007-'13, wasn't re-signed, went home to Oakland and played well, got cut, auditioned for the New York Giants, got cut again and returned to the Packers after Jordy Nelson's injury.
