Jake Dolegala has returned to the Green Bay Packers for the second time after being waived by the New England Patriots on August 9, leading to his release.
Dolegala joined the Pats on July 28th after the Packers waived him the day earlier. He spent two months with the Packers this offseason, signing in June to participate in mandatory minicamp.
The Packers did not formally announce Dolegala’s return. Green Bay released cornerback Stanford Samuels to make room for Dolegala on the roster.
His return to the club comes after Jordan Love sustained a shoulder injury during a preseason contest.
