With training camps underway, many NFL teams are currently working on reducing their roster sizes to that magic number of 80, so that when players can finally take the field, they don't have to hold split practices. However, when it comes to the Green Bay Packers, they've just made an addition.
It was reported by Adam Schefter on Thursday afternoon that Green Bay had claimed H-back John Lovett off of waivers from the Kansas City Chiefs. So as long as the Packers are making one addition, they might as well make one more and bring back Jared Veldheer, something that should have already taken place.
