It Probably Doesn’t Matter Who Wins the Packers’ Kicking Battle

Throughout the summer, I have felt a general sense of apathy towards the kicker battle. That isn’t because the position isn’t important. As we saw in the playoffs, it’s very very important. But it’s because I don’t see any decent options for the team. The Packers took a bad college kicker, as was outlined by our own Justis Mosqueda at the time. Carlson was worth about 20.5 points under the expectation for draftable kickers his 2022 season at Auburn.
