Rookie fifth-round pick Kamal Martin saw his first NFL game action last Sunday in Houston and the former University of Minnesota star played well. In just 29 snaps, Martin made six tackles including one tackle for loss.
Martin was considered the Packers best inside linebacker in training camp by many observers who noticed what he brought to the game. But late in camp, Martin suffered an injury and was placed on the IR before Week 1.
On Sunday, Martin played his first football game since November when an injury ended his college career. He was clearly excited to return to the field for the first time in about 11 months.
