PHILADELPHIA − Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts went through another practice Thursday, another indication that he could be cleared out of the NFL's concussion protocol in time to play in the team's playoff game Sunday against the Green Bay Packers.
On Wednesday, Hurts practiced for the first time since leaving the Eagles' game against the Washington Commanders on Dec. 22 with a concussion. Hurts was a limited participant that day.
Returning to practice is part of the five-step protocol to return to play. If Hurts is a full participant Thursday, meaning that he's also taking part in team drills, that would be another significant step forward.
