After three straight picks on the offensive side of the ball, the Green Bay Packers finally got Jeff Hafley some help by taking Texas edge rusher Barryn Sorrell at No. 124 overall in the fourth round of the 2025 NFL draft.
Sorrell (6-3, 256) produced 25.5 tackles for loss and 15.5 sacks over 40 starts and four seasons at Texas. He was a two-time all-conference pick (2022, 2023) before leading Texas in pressures and quarterback hits in 2024. With a Relative Athletic Score above 9.0, Sorrell has the athleticism required to play edge at the NFL level.
