Most of the chatter around the Packers this offseason has focused on the offense and the quarterback, in particular, but the defense will be leaned on more than it has in previous seasons, maybe more than it has in decades.
The Packers offense will be under a lot of pressure, but with a new starting quarterback and mostly first and second year guys at receiver and tight end, people will understand if things don't click right away.
Defense is another story.
Not only is that side of the ball chocked full of 1st round picks (including three 1st round selections on defense in the last two years and a whopping seven in the last six years), but they also retained defensive coordinator Joe Barry after another inconsistent season.
