In the Packers’ first official injury report of the week, cornerback Kevin King, who head coach Matt LaFleur called “day-to-day” on Monday, was listed as a limited participant in practice, potentially good news for the defensive back who has been dealing with a shoulder injury since Week 5 against the Bengals. The unfortunate news on Green Bay’s end is that pass-rusher Preston Smith (oblique), safety Darnell Savage (concussion), center Josh Myers (knee), and tackle Dennis Kelly (back) were non-participants in practice.
Based on the tone of the press conferences out of Green Bay this week, it does not sound like Smith will suit up against the Washington Football Team, but the new addition of Whitney Mercilus should help to alleviate some of the issues the Packers will have with Smith out.
