Green Bay Packers quarterback Jordan Love will be facing the Chiefs for the second time on Sunday at Lambeau Field.
The first time was memorable.
The 2021 encounter at Arrowhead was Love’s first career start. He had taken snaps in two earlier games, but when starter Aaron Rodgers tested positive for COVID-19 the week of the game, Love was thrust in the starting role.
He threw for 190 yards with one touchdown and an interception, going 19 for 34 in a 13-7 Chiefs victory.
Love’s game drew attention for another reason: His mother and girlfriend sat in the last row at GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium, about as far away from the action as you can be.
