The tight end position was a big question mark for the Packers heading into the 2020 season. Last year’s starter, Jimmy Graham, was let go over the offseason and signed with Chicago which to many felt like addition by subtraction.
It was unclear how the remaining players on the roster would stack up and be utilized in Matt LaFleur’s offense which likes to use numerous multiple tight-end sets and to use tight ends in a variety of ways. Tight ends can line up in the traditional tight end position, they could line up on the outside like a wide receiver or they could be used as an H-back.
