How the Packers reduced their roster to 53 players during final cuts

The Green Bay Packers released 34 players, waived two players injured, placed one player on injured reserve with a designation to return and placed two players on injured reserve with no designation to get the roster down to 53 players by Tuesday’s deadline.

The Packers also announced the trade for quarterback Malik Willis from the Tennessee Titans. The trade is pending a physical but Willis still counts against the Packers’ first 53-man roster. The Packers sent a seventh-round pick to the Titans for Willis.
