The Green Bay Packers lived up to their promise to be more aggressive in the free agent market this week and with the signing of Muhammad Wilkerson, that aggression will pay huge dividends.
Most fans, however, don’t really want to talk about Wilkerson. There is a large segment still mourning the loss of Jordy Nelson and for good reason. He was a tremendous player for the Packers and he will be dearly missed. But with little cap room, needs to fill and younger wide receivers like Davante Adams excelling, it was a tough, but understandable move.
Green Bay needs to change if it wants to catch the Vikings and getting rid of Jordy is just part of that.
