Players like Matt Prater and Atari Bigby come to mind.
Those former UCF Knights did not hear their names called in the NFL draft.
But after signing with the Green Bay Packers as an undrafted free agent in 2005, Bigby developed into a starting safety. He played for three teams across eight seasons in the league and won Super Bowl 45.
In 2007, Prater went unchosen. But that didn't stop him from becoming a two-time Pro Bowl kicker who's lasted 18 NFL seasons with four teams.
During the 2025 draft in Green Bay, running back RJ Harvey and cornerback Mac McWilliams were picked, leaving Knights like BJ Adams and Kobe Hudson as undrafted free agents.
