How former Gophers performed in the NFL this season

Jan. 24—This time a year ago, three former Gophers football players were making memorable playoff journeys to Super Bowl LV. But over the weekend, another trio of former Minnesota players had their seasons cut short of the ultimate goal.

Antoine Winfield Jr., Tyler Johnson and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers lost 30-27 to the Los Angeles Rams in Sunday's NFC divisional-round playoff game; De'Vondre Campbell and the Green Bay Packers were upset 13-10 by the San Francisco 49ers on Saturday in the other NFC divisional-round game.
