At pick 30, the Pittsburgh Steelers selected T.J. Watt, an edge rusher from the University of Wisconsin. The former Badger will provide Blitzburgh with an ability to make plays coming from the edge which the Steelers identified as a need during the offseason.
Watt will immediately help add speed and athleticism to the Steelers’ pass rush, making it ever more dangerous. Watt will join Jerome Harrison and Bud Dupree on the pass rush rotation to create a lethal combination.
AROUND COVER32
Watt will likely slide in behind the aforementioned starters; with his skill set, that will be for a short time.
