What does that mean?
The offensive players the Packers jettisoned this offseason accounted for only five percent of the team’s total offensive snaps. As you’ve probably imagined, the Packers will return the highest percentage of their offense in 2015.
Only Pittsburgh (94), Carolina (92), Cincinnati (91) and Washington (91) retained at least 90 percent.
The Packers’ biggest losses were receiver Jarrett Boykin, who played 238 snaps in 2014, and tackle Derek Sherrod, who played 140. Boykin was a total disappointment and Sherrod was an unmitigated disaster, so good riddance.
No other offensive player the Packers parted ways with played more than 100 snaps.
