The Packers' special teams, Super Bowl LVI and more.
The one big piece of Packers news we’re likely to get for the rest of February was the hiring of a special teams coordinator, and the Packers certainly made a splash move with the hire of Rich Bisaccia.
Bisaccia was widely considered to be one of the most respected available names for the position, having coordinated units for several NFL teams over the years. He did an excellent job of keeping the Las Vegas Raiders afloat after the Jon Gruden scandal, even guiding them to a playoff berth as the AFC’s sixth seed, losing on the road in the wild card round to the eventual AFC champion Cincinnati Bengals.
