Halfway Through the Season, It Seems More Likely Aaron Rodgers Could Stay in Green Bay

During the recent offseason, the Packers and quarterback Aaron Rodgers went through a lot of turmoil and uncertainty. The reigning NFL MVP wasn’t sure if he wanted to come back to the only franchise he’s played for since being drafted in 2005, citing “philosophical differences” with the way the team was being run.

Fast forward to Week 8. The Packers are 7-1 and have a league-high seven-game winning streak. They’ve accomplished this despite a rash of injuries that would decimate many teams and leave them uncompetitive. Rodgers isn’t quite playing at the off the charts level he was a year ago, but he’s still one of the league’s best quarterbacks.
