Jennings signed a two-year deal worth $8 million on Tuesday.
It’s a fitting twist. Jennings was axed by the Minnesota Vikings after they traded for Dolphins wideout Mike Wallace earlier this offseason. Wallace, like Jennings, was considered a free agent bust. However, the Vikings sent a fifth-round pick to the Dolphins for Wallace and a seventh-rounder. They also took on his monster salary.
In the end, Miami is up a fifth-round pick, rid of an albatross of a contract and they have arguably a better receiver at a much lower price. This once again proves that the Minnesota Vikings are idiots.
