GRAND CHUTE - The 20th annual Green & Gold Charity Softball Game scheduled for June 7 has been postponed because of COVID-19 concerns and scheduling issues.
A new date has not been determined.
The event features Green Bay Packers players, and this year running back Aaron Jones is scheduled to be captain of the offense.
The annual event is played at Neuroscience Group Field in Fox Cities Stadium, home of the Wisconsin Timber Rattlers.
Previously purchased tickets will be valid for the rescheduled game.
“We need to ensure we have a safe environment for all fans and players and need to line up a date that works into the Packers training camp schedule, which has yet to be announced,” said Timber Rattlers president Rob Zerjav in a release Wednesday.
