The Green Bay Packers looked to remain perfect through week five against a defensive bully, the St. Louis Rams, at Lambeau Field.
They did that.
It wasn’t always pretty – and at times, it was pretty ugly, offensively – but the team pulled together in all three phases to send the vaunted Rams’ defense home deflated.
It was a hard fought battle in the trenches, as I suspected. Before the game, I named some trenches players as keys to a Packers’ win.
