Green Bay Packers: What’s next for James Jones?

After leading the Packers in receiving with 890 yards and eight touchdowns, it’s somewhat of a surprise to see him still jobless at the start of July.

Jones proved in his year-long return to Green Bay that he can still play. He struggled up against top-tier cornerbacks, but a role as No. 2 or No. 3 receiver would suit him. Somewhere. Anywhere. There has to be one wide receiver-needy team in the league Jones could help.

Maybe that team will be the Packers.

As things stand, there are too many wideouts in Green Bay. With Jordy Nelson and Ty Montgomery returning from season-ending injuries, the receiver room has suddenly got very busy.
