Following news that the Packers are shopping veteran cornerback Jaire Alexander, Green Bay could look to prioritize upgrading the secondary with a marquee free agent signing for the second offseason in a row.
Last offseason, general manager Brian Gutekunst and the Packers struck gold, inking safety Xavier McKinney early in free agency, before the 26-year-old went on to become a first-team All-Pro selection for the first time in his career in 2024.
Ahead of coordinator Jeff Hafley’s second season at the helm of the defense, the Packers could aim to replicate the formula when free agency gets underway in March.
