EAGLE BUTTE, S.D. (KFYR) – Tucker Kraft is making a big impression on the NFL. The South Dakota native is in his second season as a tight end for the Green Bay Packers.
But even at the pinnacle of success, he’s never forgotten where he came from: the small town of Timber Lake, South Dakota. The town of about 500 people is on the Cheyenne River Reservation.
His roots are why he chose the local nonprofit, Cheyenne River Youth Project, for the NFL’s “My Cause, My Cleats” initiative.
Staff at the Cheyenne River Youth Project are busy matching toys with wish lists.
