Green Bay Packers top five traits: Mike Daniels’ explosiveness

Mike Daniels was the Packers’ best player last year. While the offense slumped and Clay Matthews was forced to play inside linebacker, Daniels was a consistently excellent performer who led the Packers defense to one of their better seasons in recent years.

Though Matthews remains a force, Daniels has become the heart and soul of the Green Bay defense.

Daniels is a relatively undersized player for his position, officially checking in at 6-feet tall and 310 pounds. But he has used this apparent weakness to his advantage on his way to becoming one of the most feared defensive tackles in the NFL.
