The 2014 season was a revealing one for the Green Bay Packers with certain flaws being exposed in the beginning of the year. One of those being the run defense which ranked a league worst 32nd through the first eight games last season resulting in a 5-3 record which implemented a big change in the dynamic of the defense.
A.J. Hawk and Brad Jones both were entrenched as the starters coming into last season at the inside linebacker position and both struggled tremendously to get any sort of rhythm going in stopping the run, contributing to the Packers league worst ranking.
